You will receive 12 zip files containing all of the files you need to recreate Meerabel's skirt, as well as two pdf files with instructions to do the eyelet trim and the skirt embroidery. Even with a 4x4 hoop, you can create this beautiful skirt! It also includes versions for a 5x7 and 6x10 hoop (eyelet trim also includes 12", 14", and 16" hoop). You will receive instructions on how to accomplish this, including instructions on how to match up the "snake" pieces for multiple hoops. You will need to provide your own pattern to construct the skirt. Or, you can stitch these items onto a ready-made shirt or t-shirt. A full circle skirt or a very full gathered skirt would work best. If you want to make a baby sized or doll sized skirt, just use fewer 4x4 panels. If you want to make a very large or long skirt, repeat some of the panels.
These files are all embroidery, no applique (except for the eyelet trim). They are supposed to replicate hand embroidery. So, they will not be as stitch heavy as most of my designs. This makes the stitch-outs go much faster.
Please see the photos for the different options for all of these pieces. Most all of these pieces will work for either a straight panel that will be gathered at the top, or for a circle skirt. The "snake" portion of the design will have 2 versions, both a regular version and a curved version that would work best for a circle skirt.
This skirt will be a labor of love. There is a total of 26 separate hoopings (28 for a 4x4 hoop). Plus, as many hoops as you need to recreate the eyelet trim. You can choose to do them all, or as few as you'd like. Each of the designs will stand on their own well and they can be mix and matched (with exception to panel 9-17, which need to be continuous since it's a snake and the eyelet trim).
